The IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2022 symposium will feature several panel discussions. Panels offer an excellent opportunity for experts to discuss and engage with the audience on leading-edge and frontier topics related to Network, Service, Cyber, and System Management. NOMS community has been involved with many ongoing research and developments, including Artificial Intelligence, 5G and 6G networks, software-defined infrastructures, open-source networking, and the Internet of Things. The conference's central theme is set to "Management in the Age of Softwarization and Artificial Intelligence" to emphasize the strong demands for softwarization, digitalization, and AI-driven management of the more complex network and service environments.
Accordingly, NOMS 2022 solicits proposals for panels related to the conference's central theme and invite diverse perspectives and challenging viewpoints. Panels could focus on either an in-depth specific conference topic or a novel integration of some of the particular topics of the conference (i.e., conference-specific topics https://noms2022.ieee-noms.org/authors/call-technical-session-papers).
A panel proposal should have the following structure:
- Brief description of the topic
- Why it will be of interest to the audience
- Short bio of the panel moderator
- Proposals for potential panelists with bios
- Short description of the structure of the proposed panel
We encourage a panel format with short opening statements leaving enough room for lively discussions with the audience. If needed, the Organizing Committee can assist with the identification of additional panel members.
The NOMS 2022 Organizing Committee will evaluate all proposals. If you are interested in organizing a panel, please send your proposals in a PDF file to the two Co-Chairs.
